Designed around the idea of "boxes and cables", ACE lets you create your own customised synthesizer instrument by connecting any input to any output. Explore the potential of modular by breaching beyond your comfort zone and experimenting with new and exciting ways to connect your signal path, letting you create the customised sound that you hear in your head! A true dream for sound designers, contemporary film composers and musicians, you can manipulate the signal path in almost any way to create the otherworldly sounds that you need to fit the mood of your piece, nothing is off-limits.

Fixed architecture with normalled outputs allow you to dive straight into this unique synthesizer to give you an out-of-the-box factor. The default routing can be edited by patching your outputs to any section of the synthesizer for limitless potential.

Versatile soundscapes

Not limited to reductive oscillators and filters, ACE provides you with the toolkit to produce whatever sound you need for your project. Two VCOs act as the main sound generators, but ACE doesn't split between audio and CV signals, allowing you the freedom to patch in anything from anywhere, with even LFOs being able to produce audio thanks to their full frequency response from up to 20kHz. Modelled after analog circuits, the oscillators in ACE provide a warm and smooth sound that features all the characteristics and imperfections of vintage synthesizers which can be sent into overdrive with the Circuit Bending options. This gives you a large scope to produce flavourful sounds that are perfect for heavier and darker music genres.

Experiment with beefing up your sound by adding a sub-oscillator for huge low-end bass synths that shake the room down or try adding some ring modulation and cross-modulation for truly unique sound design that would have right of place in any contemporary cinematic score. Ace provides you with the building blocks that set you on the right path for your desired tone, for example, the integrated LFOs have a full-range frequency sweep that lets you generate tones and sounds, so it's not simply limited to the VCOs! The LFOs provide you with a different feature set for a unique flavour, add phase modulation and custom waveforms to take the ordinary into something extraterrestrial.
